PC Crash / BSOD

If you are getting PC crashes or BSODs, here's how to fix it.

Getting BSODs when using the loader? First check what Windows version you're on.

Check your Windows version

Press Windows key + R, type winver, and press Enter. Look at the "Version" line in the window that opens.

If it says Version 23H2, this is a known issue on certain builds of 23H2 where the loader can trigger BSODs. 24H2 and 25H2 don't have the problem.

Fix (if you're on 23H2)

Update Windows to a newer. Simply follow this short walkthrough (no data is lost don't worry):

After the update completes, restart and try the loader again. The BSOD will be gone.

Still crashing?

If for some reason you still crash or receive a BSOD, open a ticket in Discord with:

  • Your current Windows build (from winver)
  • The BSOD error message
  • What you were doing when it crashed
