How to pay with cryptocurrency

A first-time guide on which coin to pick, where to buy it, and how to pay with it.

Never used crypto before? Here's what to do.

1. Pick a coin

For small purchases (under $50), Litecoin (LTC) or Tron (TRX) are the cheapest to send. For larger purchases any coin we accept is fine.

The full list we accept: BTC, ETH, LTC, BNB, TRX, MATIC, USDT (ERC20), USDC (ERC20).

2. Buy the coin from an exchange

Sign up for a crypto exchange in your country and buy the amount you need. A few beginner friendly options are:

  • Coinbase - US, UK, EU
  • Binance - largest global exchange, most regions
  • Kraken - most countries supported
  • Cash App - simplest for Bitcoin in the USA

You'll need to verify your identity (photo ID) before you can buy. That takes anywhere from a few minutes to a day depending on the exchange.

Buy a little more than the checkout price - a few dollars extra covers the fees of sending crypto.

3. Start checkout on our site

Go through the shop checkout as normal. At the payment step, pick Cryptocurrency then the coin you bought. It will show:

  • A wallet address to send to
  • The exact amount in your coin

Keep this window open.

4. Send from your exchange

In your exchange app, go to Withdraw or Send. Paste the wallet address from our checkout and enter the exact amount shown on our checkout.

One thing to be careful of is:

  • Withdrawal fees. Some exchanges deduct their withdrawal fee from the amount you send. Double check that the amount you are sending is equal to what is shown on our checkout page.

5. Wait for it to arrive

Our checkout waits for confirmation of the sent crypto. Typical wait times:

  • Bitcoin: 10 to 60 minutes
  • Litecoin: 5 to 15 minutes
  • Tron, Polygon, BNB: usually under 5 minutes
  • Ethereum-based (ETH, USDT, USDC): 5 to 30 minutes

Once it confirms, your license key is emailed to you.

If something went wrong

  • Payment sent but no key after an hour? Check spam first. If nothing, open a ticket with your TX hash (found in your exchange's transaction history), the coin used, and the address you sent to. We can trace the payment.

  • The countdown expired before I sent? Refresh the checkout page to get a new countdown time, do not send if the timer is expired.
